돈 없고 빽 없는 설움을 당하다 옹진골 어귀 주막에 도착한 실옹은 사채꾼에게 돈을 빌려

매일 시달리고, 주모에게도 일을 못 한다 구박을 받으며 생활하게 된다.

실옹은 자신이 진짜임을 입증해줄 수 있는 사람으로 유모(춘단 어미)를

떠올리게 되고 유모를 찾으러 떠난다.

Silong puts up at an inn located at the entrance to Ongjingol coming to grief

because he has no any money and backing. He suffers from a private monylender everyday

after lending money from him. He leads a life being ill-treated by a woman

who sells liquor and says that he is a bad worker. Silong recalls his nanny (Chundan's mother)
